This is simply a process to verify that your personal details match your bank details. It’s part of our anti-fraud and risk strategy. If we are not able to verify your account, we cannot proceed with your loan – we would hate to pay your cash into an account that is in fact not yours. We automatically verify your account as part of the application process. If you do not bank with one of the so-called big ‘five banks’ (ABSA, Capitec, FNB, Nedbank, Standard Bank) we are unable to conduct this verification automatically.
